Use of retargeting technology from Facebook Inc.

We use Facebook retargeting technology on the Wettertuete.de website. This works with a ClearGif, i.e. a 1×1 pixel. This pixel is automatically called up by your browser when you visit our website and establishes a connection to Facebook and its servers in the USA. Your so-called http header (i.e. the information that your browser provides by default to the websites you visit when you surf the Internet, such as your IP address, browser information, website URL, document referrer and user agent, such as operating system) is transmitted to Facebook via this, as well as any Facebook cookie that may already be present on your computer and our customer number at Facebook (this does not correspond to your customer number with us). This happens regardless of whether you are a Facebook member and/ or logged in there. Any further processing of this data is done solely by and at Facebook. Insofar as Facebook can assign the Facebook cookie to your Facebook account, it uses this information to display advertising tailored to you via advertising banners when you visit Facebook. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection, the further processing and use of data by Facebook, and your settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy. You can find these here, among other places: www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/ and www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.

If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Website Custom Audiences, you can do so at www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.

We do not share any data about you with Facebook.
