Repair your Wettertüte
A burn hole caused by New Year's Eve firecrackers or during a baked bread barbecue, a heavy storm, attacks from the lawn mower: these are just a few examples from everyday life that can damage our Wettertüte . We show you here different possibilities for repair. If you have any questions, you are also welcome to contact us by e-mail at info@wettertuete.de with a corresponding damage photo. We will take a look at the damage and make you a suggestion on how best to repair the cover.

Perforation and extremely stretchable, this tape was specially designed for repairing tears and holes in fabrics and films.

the tape is 14 cm long and 3.5 cm wide
Handling:
1. clean and dry the surface to be pasted with enclosed alcohol swab and cut the film to the appropriate size (please ensure sufficient overlap - at least 2 cm).
Peel off the protective paper, taking care not to touch the adhesive surface.
3. place the adhesive piece on the repair area ...
4. ... and press on evenly, vigorously. Allow to dry for a few minutes and ready.
The adhesive strength and elasticity of the repair film is extremely high and durable.
Our taping tape
for open seams
Our special taping tape is ribbed on one side and smooth on the other. It is 2.7 cm wide.
The smooth side is so to speak the "adhesive side" and must be placed from the inside on the seam of the Wettertuete, your tent, outdoor clothing, etc..
The tape is ironed onto the seam from the inside using a standard household iron (highest setting).
Baking paper can be used to protect the iron from the melted glue. If the seam is not yet tight after the first ironing, the tape can be bonded more strongly to the fabric by subsequent ironing.
Repair on site in the sewing room
Torn loops we sew back on site in our sewing shop. In case of holes or tears, please send us a short photo. We will then check at short notice which repair makes the most sense. As a rule, this is also free of charge. The repair in our sewing shop takes in the season about 1-2 weeks including shipping times. It is best to wait with the return until the weather should remain dry for a long time.
