Although mushroom heaters are often made of stainless steel and presumably weather-protected, rust film, verdigris and other dirt can damage the heater and the technology. A cover makes sense here and looks good on top of that. Since there are mushroom heaters in many different shapes and sizes, we do not offer a standard cover and manufacture them only to measure. We are happy to consider your wishes for zippers, for example.
